The «Hausarztmodell» is a system to improve access to medical care making the process more efficient and streamlined. With this we aim to provide a high level evidence based assessment and treatment and with the support of ZMED (https://www.zmed.ch) we remain committed to lifelong learning and development. As first point of contact we apply our knowledge and skills or activate our specialist colleagues in order to provide a rapid solution to your problem. We then remain a contact point for further discussion. The overriding principle is to provide high quality medical care and support.
Exceptions to this model: gynaecologists, ophthalmologists and paediatricians are exempt from this referral pathway.
