Dr. med. Maria-Luisa Olgiati

Dr. Olgiati continues to work independently at Stockerstrasse 42 and shares the premises with her new colleagues. Maria-Luisa Olgiati studied medicine in Lausanne and Zurich. After graduating, she worked for 15 years in various acute hospitals, first as a junior doctor and then as a senior physician for internal medicine. In between there was a 2-year detour into research (development of inflammation in granulocytes). In 2000, she opened the practice at Stockerstrasse 42 and has been trying to help people out of the labyrinth of illness ever since. If this is not possible, then to accompany them as best she can. It is very important to her to respect the dignity of her patients.
Her interests lie in internal medicine as a whole, with a focus on diabetology and endocrinology. She also looks after many polymorbid patients. She is pleased to welcome very good, young and motivated colleagues to the practice. With this good feeling and confidence, she will also be able to reduce her workload. A good handover during this time is very important to her.
