During his training as a specialist in general internal medicine until 2010, he worked as an internist in the outpatient sector and gained experience in many different specialties such as geriatrics, the treatment of polymorbid patients including palliation and prevention. After moving to Switzerland in 2016, he is now completing the requirements for the Swiss title of Specialist in General Internal Medicine and will graduate in October 2023. During these years, he gained experience in the Swiss healthcare system and in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases as well as in the treatment of HIV.
